Add-on/fun ways to handle bickering users?

A user said that on a forum she used to frequent, users who would argue would sometimes be time restricted to posting in a "take it outside" forum so that those two users could only argue with each other in a specific thread on a specific forum until they got it out of their system.

Does anything like this exist or anyone aware of add-ons that kind of facilitate problematic users in a similar way? Just curious.
