For our classified advert threads, the advertisers need to be able to edit their ads - I.e. the first post - but people replying should not be able to edit their posts because then they could change their offers and gazzump others.
There is no ability to set permissions to achieve this in core Xenforo.
Obviously, this will require an addon.
