There is a privately owned website, which is coincidentally using XF, whose owner has been missing for almost a year. Despite the owner missing, people have been continuing to use the site. However, as of about a month ago, the website now displays a XenForo server error.
The domain registration is hidden. Has anyone ever tried to contact the owner of a website in this situation? Maybe I could try to contact the domain registrar or the hosting provider?
