"Custom property" and "Value inherited" hint labels in my opinion simply clutter up the screen and have no real benefits. Value inherited is technically how every single style property works, even on the default style. It inherits from the parent (master) so what real benefit does it have in displaying that. When it comes to the custom property label, it's not like you show it on add-on style properties. This is how an add-on style property screen would look if it had the same concept...
