Remove trailing comma from macro?

Is there a way to remove the trailing comma from the template:custom_fields_macros & macro:custom_field_value as it comes down to {$definition.getFormattedValue($value)|raw} which separates options by a comma?

This is an undesirable effect as with the comma, I can't stylize the view of them into two columns as I would be while editing them.
